Engaging Heads, Hearts & Hands In the Time of COVID - 19

As a part of the BC Government's re-start plan, BC schools are now being reopened as of June 1, for parents needing to return to work, meeting the needs of vulnerable students, and for schools to engage with implementing new protocols surrounding having students back on campus. Distance learning will continue for those families who prefer to remain at home for the remainder of the school year.
Further details about the health and safety aspects of our plan are now available in our COVID-19 Safety Plan. You will always be able to find the most recent version posted at the front door of our school or on our Covid -19 webpage.

We are asking ALL CURRENT FAMILIES to complete and submit a final survey, no later than end of day on Tuesday May 26, so that we can plan accordingly for our final days on campus for this school year. Links for the survey can be found in the Special Edition Newsletter, Our Covid-19 web page, or on our Facebook pages.

Our teachers continue to collaborate and innovate in educating our students in the Waldorf way and our priority is in supporting our parents and families. We ask that current families check their email regularly for our Newsletters to remain informed about important updates. Please click on the READ FULL STORY tab below which links to our COVID-19 web page for additional information, updates and resources.
The last day of school for the 2019 - 2020 Scholastic Calendar will be Tuesday June 16, 2020.

We are welcoming prospective families to our campus for private tours and talks with our Director of Admissions and are currently accepting applications for Pre-K - Class 8. You are welcome to explore our website and reach out to Chantey Dayal at admissions@sunrisewaldorfschool.org or by calling 250.743.7253 Ext. 22 for information and to start a conversation.
