Sunrise Waldorf School

Sunrise Waldorf School is located on beautiful Vancouver Island and is a 29-year-old, AWSNA accredited school. Sunrise Waldorf School sits on seven picturesque acres in the Cowichan Valley of Vancouver Island. Lush forests and mountain trails abound for year-round hiking. Ocean and lakefronts offer diverse water adventures. The rugged beauty of the west coast is less than an hour away as are the rich cultural offerings of Victoria. Vancouver and Seattle are just a ferry ride away. Our school includes a parent-toddler program, two kindergartens and a first through eighth grade lower school. Waldorf education continues at nearby Island Oak Waldorf High School. We currently have approximately 190 enthusiastic students enrolled and a vibrant supporting community including a Camp Hill, Christian Community and Biodynamic Farm.

Requirements preferred:

Waldorf Teacher Training
Canadian Citizen
Teaching Experience
Teaching Certification or Degree
Anthroposophically oriented
Team player
All other saintly attributes.(a couple of devilish ones are acceptable)
